Rollers, idlers & sprockets

Before you buy

• Find your make, model and serial number first. Roller and idler bodies differ even between models of similar size.
• Measure the roller outside diameter, flange width and axle or bearing bore. Sellers usually ask for all three.
• Check that the tensioner (grease cylinder and spring) still holds tension before blaming the track.
• Replace in sets where practical. One new roller beside worn ones carries the load unevenly.

When to replace: Replace rollers when they seize, wobble or leak grease. Replace sprockets when the teeth are hooked or thin.
