Bucket teeth

Bucket teeth are the wear parts at the digging edge. Replacing them early protects the bucket lip.

Before you buy

  • Match the tooth style to your bucket. Bolt-on, weld-on and pin-and-retainer systems are not interchangeable.
  • Measure the pin or bolt hole size and spacing, and the adapter width at the bucket lip.
  • Buy a full set. Teeth wear at different rates and a mixed set digs poorly.

When to replace: Replace when the tip is rounded off or the tooth is down to about half its original length.
